Mechanical Testing

Mechanical Testing

Mechanical testing is important for materials analysis to reveal the physical properties of the materials. Mechanical testing comprises analysis of tensile strength, compression strength, impact resistance, hardness and more.

In Quasi-S, we offer mechanical testing services for metallic materials, as well as components and specialty products which conduct by experienced personnel and can provide you with precise results for any mechanical testing inquiries.

Tensile Testing

Tensile test is used to determine the ultimate tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, reduction in area, modulus of elasticity and other tensile properties. Quasi-S provides tensile testing up to 100kN at the ambient temperature in accordance with the international standards

.

Bend Testing

Bend test determines the ductility properties of a metal which can be produced in varies shape usually sheet, strip, plate or wire. Bend test has also been utilised in determining the toughness of metal after welding, etc. We in Quasi-S provide bend testing for various metals to determine the ductility and toughness properties in which the procedure complies with the international standards.

Charpy Impact Testing

Impact testing typical utilised for measuring the amount of energy absorbed by a material during fracture. This test also determines the toughness of a material. In Quasi-S, we use a 300-joule Charpy impact tester with the low-temperature chamber for testing our customer sample from the ambient temperature to various low temperatures in accordance with the international standards.

Hardness Testing

Hardness testing evaluates the impact of the metal or alloy to permanent indentation or deformation. The size of the indent is measured to determine a hardness value. In Quasi-S, we perform the hardness test using in-house micro-vickers hardness tester, with the test forces range from 0.001kgf to 1kgf, in accordance with the international standards.
